Using pre-cut book blocks, covers and various templates and jigs, students will make several sized miniature books to string from a bronze necklace or hang from earring posts. Cover paper, bronze necklace material, earring hooks, jump rings will be provided.
San Diego native, Al Rodríguez, is a retired school-teacher who taught graphic arts and photography in the San Diego City Schools. His life-long interest in paper and printing lead naturally into book arts; an art form that he taught to his students during the last five years of his teaching career.
