Submission of Pictures of work to Front Porch Gallery Director Julie Weaverling: email@example.com
Submit 2-3 pictures of 1-2 books
Early Deadline: 2/1 (allows marketing work to begin)
Final Deadline: 2/15
Work will be curated, as needed, to determine best variety of books for the space. Wall space and tabletop available. Julie Weaverling will be curating.
Notification: 2/22/2023. This will include specifics for mailing or dropping off books.
Mailing deadline: Books must be received by March 15, 2023
Drop off book at the gallery: March 15 – 20, 2023

Questions/Answers received :
1.Yes, when you are ready, send pictures of your work to Julie, at email@example.com. Pictures can be your best home effort. You are invited to send in 2-3 pictures each of 1-2 books. Remember the final deadline is 2/15/2023. 2. Every effort will be made to include as many books as possible. Wall and tabletop space can handle 60-70 books! 3. Books can be for sale, with a 60% artist/40% gallery split. 4. Julie is arranging for a “Virtual Tour” for those not able to view in person. 5. We are in the planning stages for a catalogue, and SDBA will absorb the work for new pictures, formatting etc.
We are excited to return to Front Porch Gallery! SDBA first exhibit at the gallery was a Members Exhibit in 2013. We returned in 2020 with our California Natives exhibit.
