By becoming a member you help San Diego Book Arts maintain a vital artistic presence in the community through exhibitions, lectures, workshops and outreach activities. Members receive a newsletter and a monthly email update loaded with news of local and national book arts events as well as invitations to exhibitions and receptions. Members may participate in SDBA exhibitions, attend lectures, salons, potlucks, and other functions, and teach SDBA-sponsored classes. In addition, members receive a discount to all SDBA workshops and classes. All meetings, including quarterly Board of Directors' meetings, are open to members, who are also eligible to serve on the board or as committee chairs.
San Diego Book Arts is a nonprofit organization and contributions are tax deductible to the extent allowable by law. A letter of confirmation and appreciation will be issued promptly upon receipt of donations at the $100 level and up.
Membership in SDBA runs from January 1 to December 31. Dues are paid annually. To remain a member in good standing for the upcoming year and be included in the Membership Directory, members should renew their membership by December 31. Dues can now be paid online using this Join/Renew button.
New members may join SDBA at any time. Their dues payment covers the calendar year in which they join. As a bonus, anyone who becomes a member on or after October 1 will be granted membership through December 31 of the following year in addition to the year in which the dues were initially paid.
