On the first day of this 2-day workshop, we’ll make hard-cover, single-needle Coptic bound triangle books. To hold our books, we’ll make triangle-shaped presentation boxes covered in paper and painted inside, learning great techniques for dealing with tricky, non-square corners. 2nd day of workshop will yield triangle books with magnetized covers that, when joined together, create the lotus book that is revealed as you open the sides of the pyramid box. We’ll also explore some of the versatile ideas and designs during the workshop, leaving class with illustrated step-by-step instructions so you can make these again with your own concepts.
